This Privacy Policy explains how Find the Dog is published by Base Game Lab ("we", "us") and how data is handled when you use the mobile game.

Summary

Find the Dog is an ad-supported hidden-object game with optional in-app purchases. The app does not require an account. It may use advertising, analytics, attribution, purchase, and crash/diagnostic technologies to operate the game, show ads, measure performance, and support purchases.

On iOS, the app may ask for App Tracking Transparency permission before allowing ad partners to use the device advertising identifier (IDFA) or to track activity across apps and websites for advertising or measurement. If permission or regional consent is denied, the app should continue to work, but ads may be less personalized.

Data we may collect or process

Depending on your device, region, settings, and the final app build, the app and its service providers may process:

  • Gameplay and app activity: level starts/completions/failures, hints used, rewarded ad actions, settings changes, app opens, session and product interaction events.
  • Advertising data and identifiers: ad impressions, ad interactions, approximate ad placement context, device advertising identifiers such as IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on Android when permitted, and ad-network measurement data.
  • Device and technical data: device model, operating system, app version, IP address, coarse region inferred from network data, diagnostics, performance, and SDK logs.
  • Purchase data: product identifiers, purchase/restore status, transaction identifiers or purchase tokens, entitlement state such as No Ads, and non-consumable/consumable purchase history needed to fulfill purchases and restore entitlements.
  • Local app data: progress, settings, economy balances, hint counts, purchase-processing ledger, rate-prompt state, cached level assets, and a local anonymous cohort identifier used for experiments or rollout decisions.
  • User-initiated shared content: if you use a screenshot/share feature, the app may generate an image locally and pass it to the operating system share sheet or file system feature you choose.

The app does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, precise location, camera, or microphone access for normal gameplay.

Why data is used

We and our service providers use data to:

  • operate the game and remember progress/settings;
  • show banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads;
  • personalize or measure ads where legally permitted and where you have provided required authorization/consent;
  • provide non-personalized/contextual ads when tracking or consent is not available;
  • measure game performance, progression, ad performance, and feature health;
  • attribute installs or campaign performance;
  • process in-app purchases and restore entitlements;
  • prevent fraud, debug issues, and maintain security;
  • respond to support and privacy requests.

Service providers

Find the Dog may use the following providers depending on platform and build configuration:

  • AppLovin MAX for ads, mediation, consent/privacy-choice flows, and ad measurement.
  • Google AdMob / Google User Messaging Platform where used through mediation or consent flows.
  • Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config for analytics and remote configuration when enabled.
  • Adjust for attribution and campaign measurement.
  • GameAnalytics for game analytics events.
  • RevenueCat for in-app purchase infrastructure and entitlement restoration.
  • Apple App Store and Google Play for purchases, refunds, subscriptions or purchase records, app distribution, and platform review.
  • Capacitor plugins for platform features such as haptics, local preferences, filesystem/share actions, and native app integration.

These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies and SDK disclosures. Store privacy labels and Google Play Data Safety answers are completed from the final build and provider configuration.

Tracking, ATT, and ad consent

On iOS, Apple requires apps to request App Tracking Transparency permission before tracking you across apps and websites owned by other companies or accessing IDFA for tracking. You can allow or deny this prompt. You can later change your choice in iOS Settings.

For users in regions where consent is required for personalized ads or ad-tracking storage/access, such as the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the app or its ad SDK may show a consent flow. ATT permission and GDPR/ePrivacy consent are separate requirements. Personalized ads should only be enabled when the required choices allow it.

For California and similar privacy-choice regimes, the app may provide or link to privacy choices such as opting out of sale/share for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable.

Children

Find the Dog is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app or related services, contact us at baseardahan@gmail.com.

If the app is ever offered as child-directed or in a kids/family program, its ads, analytics, and consent behavior must be reviewed and changed before release.

Data retention

Local gameplay data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Third-party providers retain data according to their own retention rules and legal obligations. Purchase records may be retained by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and related payment systems as required for transaction history, refunds, fraud prevention, tax, and legal compliance.

Your choices

You can:

  • change ATT permission in iOS Settings;
  • reset or limit your device advertising identifier using your device settings where available;
  • use in-app privacy choices or consent reset controls where available;
  • clear local app data by deleting the app or clearing app storage;
